I've been involved in Scouting for the last 8 years with many roles - everything from a Webelos Den Leader to Commitee Chair.  I also teach the high school girls Sunday School class at church every week.  I truly believe that everyone can make a positive difference in the lives of youth today by getting involved in the things that interest them.

I've been a CPA for 17 years, and prior to that, I was a controller for a retail music store.  As a CPA, I assist clients every day with starting new businesses, expanding existing businesses, and accounting issues related to running a business.

While working as a CPA, I've had to stay informed on labor laws to assist clients with their employee relations issues.  Additionally, I am responsible for the HR needs of our accounting firm including the hiring and termination of employees.
